GSL SMART LAB
A world class medical and surgical training platform aims at remodelling the approach towards patient safety and care in India. It has a cutting edge training system with new age fidelity simulators, a modern skills lab with basic and advanced skill trainer mannequins, premier faculty with enormous experience in their respective fields, a dedicated team and most importantly, a vision to make GSL SMART LAB a seemly destination for world class Medical and surgical training.

                                 

SIMULATION LAB
Laparoscopy Mentor Provides basic and advanced complete procedural training as well as high fidelity hands-on training of complex complete laparoscopic procedures. It features 13 training modules and over 65 tasks and cases.

   

Ultrasound Mentor
Aids in acquiring and improving sonography skills on a variety of virtual patients with abdominal ultrasound and echocardiography modules.

   

GI- Bronchoscopy Mentor
Proides training of gastrointestinal upper and lower endoscopic procedures, offering a comprehensive library of modules with more than 120 tasks. It offers a combined system for the training of both GI Endoscopy and flexible Bronchoscopy

   

Angiography Mentor
Hands – on practice of endovascular procedures performed under fluoroscopy in the cath lab, interventional suite or OR.ECHO visualization capabilities gives inter-operative structural and functional assessment of cardiac structures.

   

Arthroscopy Mentor
Provides training in knee and shoulder arthroscopy procedures. It aids in gaining eye-hand coordination for synchronous usage of arthoscopic camera and virtual instruments. Basic to Advanced Diagnostic arthroscopic Procedural modules are present.

   

SKILLS LAB
Provides realistic adult CPR and Infant CPR training and other core skills for BLS training.Advanced Skill Trainer Mannequin Focuses on the core skills of ACLS training. Operated with a SimPad, it provides comprehensive instructor - to - student debriefing and documentation of key events along with instructions on first aid and extrication. Simulated ICU and OT rooms with attached debriefing room provide realistic learning environment.

   

WET LAB
Experimental Animal lab Equipped with latest equipment and instruments. Completely sterilized.

   

3D PRINTER ( FLASH FORGE GUDER II )
3D printing has been hailed as a disruptive technology which will change manufacturing. Used in aerospace, defence, art and design, 3D printing is becoming a subject of great interest in surgery. The technology has a particular resonance with dentistry, and with advances in 3D imaging and modelling technologies such as cone beam computed tomography and intraoral scanning, and with the relatively long history of the use of CAD CAM technologies in dentistry, it will become of increasing importance. Uses of 3D printing include the production of drill guides for dental implants, the production of physical models for prosthodontics, orthodontics and surgery, the manufacture of dental, craniomaxillofacial and orthopaedic implants, and the fabrication of copings and frameworks for implant and dental restorations.
